Reduction Fired Ceramics
"As an artist I am an avid user of the ceramic process, which is made by taking mixtures of clay, earthen elements, powders and water, and then shaping them into desired forms. Once the ceramic has been shaped it is then fired in a high temperature oven known as a kiln. Most of my ceramics are covered in decretive, waterproof, paint-like substances known as glazes. My latest creation, Reduction Fired Ceramics, is identical to what most people identify as an Eastern island head or a Tiki head."
