Homage of the Sundance I
"I have been exhibiting my artwork, including paintings, drawings, lithographs, collages, and sculptures in materials such as bronze, aluminum, wood, and bone. I also work in a variety of mixed mediums, including “ready mades” borrowing from the Blackfeet/Umatilla/Walla-Walla/Nez Perce traditions. I sometimes find inspiration in other North American – Canadian Native cultures and non-Native cultures alike. I tend to weave these cultures into an artistic tapestry of blending and colliding influences."

Homage of the Sundance IV
"After receiving a full scholarship to attend the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, Illinois, I began exhibiting my artwork in Europe, Russia, and Siberia. During my travels throughout 33 countries, my main goal as artist and unofficial Native American Ambassador has been to offer his my works as a form of cultural exchange and to “collect inspirations.” I always remember a piece of advice that my former instructor gave me: “When you travel throughout the world and come across a good idea for your personal artwork, don’t steal with one hand, steal with two hands.” Following the advice of my former instructor I have been “counting coup” on many tremendous and wonderful artistic inspirations – both contemporary and conditional – from around the world."
